Niagara Student Transportation Services is busy planning for the 2017-18 school year. Please review the following information to help prepare.
Eligibility for Service
To determine if your child is eligible for transportation services, you may use our Transportation Eligibility Finder
by entering your home address and your child's grade. The results will indicate if your child is eligible for service. If your child is within the walk area of the school, the walking path used to calculate the distance from home to school will be displayed.
Specific Transportation Arrangements
On Monday, August 21, 2017 the secure parent portal will open to retrieve your child's specific transportation arrangements for the new school year including; bus stop locations, times, route numbers and the name of the service provider of your child's transportation. You will need your child's Ontario Education Number (OEN) which you can find on your child's report card to sign-in to the secure parent portal.
Moving or Changing Daycares
To ensure NSTS plans transportation for your child correctly, please make sure you update your child's pick-up and drop-off address information with your child's school before the end of this school year.
NSTS is not permitted to accept address change information from a source other than the school; however, our office is open in the summer and if you notify your Transportation Coordinator of an address change, we will make sure a stop is available for your child for the first day of school. When schools re-open for the new school year, you will need to provide them with the updated address information before NSTS can officially assign your child to transportation.
