About Us

Niagara Student Transportation Services (NSTS) is a consortium between the District School Board of Niagara (DSBN) and the Niagara District Catholic School Board (NCDSB). The mandate of NSTS is to provide safe, efficient and effective transportation services to the students of DSBN and NCDSB.

bus NSTS plans, administers and manages student transportation services through the application of policies and procedures, implementing sector leading practices and through strong contracting practices with school bus operators.

NSTS was formed in 2007 and key milestones in the development of NSTS include:

2007		NSTS was incorporated as a not-for-profit organization
2008		Launched the 2008-09 school year for DSBN and NCDSB for the first time as a single entity
2009		NSTS achieved a Moderate-High rating in the Ministry of Education Effectiveness and Efficiency Review of transportation consortia
